Paragliding.

Puts me off the thought off the parachute folding up and getting dragged to my death across the water. I'm a bit of a shithouse when it comes to parachutes.

You're probably thinking of parascending.

I had those fears but I was in tandem with a pilot who flys 4-5 times a day in the season. They know what they are doing. Try youtubing 'Olu Deniz paragliding'.

I've recently been paragliding in Olu Deniz, Turkey, off a 6000ft mountain, fantastic experience. 45 minutes flying for a bargain £60, overlooking Olu Deniz and it's famous lagoon. Stunning scenery and so peaceful. Can't reccomend it enough.

my grandad 68 and his brother both 72 both did this the other week and they got the video of it off that mountain, they said it was worth every penny and from watching the video, i can see why, fantastic views!!

People of all ages have done it. I even saw a vid of a guy and his dog paragliding! I was told it's one of the highest places in the world to paraglide from. I will definitely go back and do it again.
