They are in cahoots big time Pardew and Ashley. They know that 50k geordies will turn up every week and as long as they finish between 12th-8th every season everything is fine. They will continue to sell their best players every year and spend as little as possible doing so.
Pardew knows his job is safe for as long as they don't go down.

That's bollocks. If a player did it, that would be a 3 match ban for violent conduct. How can it be more lenient for a manager? Takes the piss that Pellegrini gets a 2 match ban for saying something, yet Pardew gets a fine for headbutting someone.
