Edit: Just checked his stats last season, nothing to write home about and Rayo just avoided relegation last season, so probably best to let another club take a punt off the back of this performance. ;-)

Just moved ahead of the French in the medals table at their own olympics by one bronze.

Quite something to win 3 olympics in something as hard as the heptathlon.

Amazing feat, it's difficult enough to get to 3 Olympic in peak fitness due to the training they put in to 7 different events.

And Mary Peters didn’t compete in the Heptathlon, when she won Gold it was the Pentathlon.

He played very well after the early gaff that gave France the opener, and the catapult throw assist was majestic, but he is not the best with the ball at his feet, so wouldn’t be the right keeper for us.
