Even Sports fans would have been up in arms about it I would reckon. £1bn from the National Broadcaster when everyone is complaining about what it pays its presenters plus having to pay a licence fee. Where would they get the money from?

Every word agreed. More like the Olympic gymnastics coverage than the Olympic Games coverage. Is gymnastics really that popular?

I was watching the Live reporting feed on the BBC website and it just so happened to occur while I was also browsing here so thought I'd add the post.

Had BBC1 on to watch some of the athletics this morning.
A right pain in the arse as I had seen them on RTE 10 minutes earlier.
