USA ran a WR in the semis 4x400m/f only finish 2nd in the final.

United beat us 2-1 in the FA Cup final recently.

A final is a final and stranger things have happened.

Incredible to believe, but when Ann Packer (Ian and David Brightwell's mum) won the 800m gold in Tokyo in 1964, that was the longest race that women ran.
