I don't understand this. PSG outplay us in the first half like nobody else, and then we outplay them even better in the second half. Perhaps they got tired after we upped the tempo.

Zinchenko substitution changed it all, it's a brilliant come back after the first half performance, thought there was a case for sterling or aguero to be introduced after the red card.

Full backs pushed up in 2nd half and City played like City. None of that timid shit we showed in the 1st 45. Pity we didn't kill them off but I'll take 2-1 away win. But we're only half way there. There's still a job to be done. We can do it. C'mon City!!

Brilliant brilliant second half. Pep calls for players to be brave - but looks like he was brave at half time, sending the full backs forward to create the overloads- worked a treat.

That must be the best half of football we have ever played, its one things to do that in the Premier League but to keep Neymar and Mbappe isolated and frustrated was incredible. loved it when Neymar was coming back to pick the ball up on the edge of his own area.

Not over of course - they showed against Bayern they are capable of going away and getting result, but that will do for now.

The boy is a neat, tidy, excellent football player.

Great win that, zinny made such a defence. PSG keeper very poor we need to pepper him with shots second leg. Poch made a mistake tactically trying to prevent the away goal. I know it’s only one game for Mbappe and we controlled the guy well, but Haaland looked more dangerous to me.

I’m going to be honest, after 30 minutes I was fearing the worst. We were pinned back, couldn’t keep possession and were clearly second best.

That second half performance was absolutely brilliant. We never gave PSG a second to settle on the ball and played virtually the whole period in their half. In the first half KDB and Gundo were firing blanks, in the second they controlled play.

Another great performance by Mahrez, with big shout outs to Dias and Stones.

Fantastic performance. Especially the second half.

But was Rodri shit tonight or was it just me not seeing his contribution? Gave the ball away alot, failed with many critical passes and didn't seem to break up any of their plays?

Zinchenko brought a new element and Gundogan was absolutely all over the place, creating massive gaps in the middle to work the ball side to side.
