De Bruyne suffers from the way the team has moved in the same way Sterling does.

KDB is at his best when he's carrying the ball from deep, multiple runners ahead of him, a bit of time on his hands to pick out the defence splitting pass no one else can see or pull off.

Or when he drifts wide into the RB position to put in a cross for the forwards to attack the 6 yard box.

Replace Sané, Sterling and Aguero with Grealish, Mahrez and Bernardo, they all come short, they all want the ball to feet. None of them attack the box to finish a move and he loses a massive part of his game.

Put Haaland upfront, running in behind the last defender, going for tap ins off crosses, and KDB will go back to his best. He was brilliant at the Euros with Lukaku doing those things.

with the right striker we will be unstoppable. still have a feeling we have a new level to reach. In a way this false 9 has forced us to become even better as a team. now if we add a pep kind of striker God only knows what kind of a level we can reach.
