Paris Saint-Germain (H) - CL SF | Post-Match Thread

How was this not a red? Look where the ball is. Jesus was lucky that on two occasions he had he leg off the ground when he was assaulted.

Absolutely mental! I thought it should have been straight red immediately. And some of the PSG players need to give their heads a wobble having a go at the ref after the match - he did them a favour not reducing them to 8 men!

Tbh i thought this was poor from the ref, either send them off OR at the very least, get the PSG captain and manager together and warn them both to sort it pronto. As it was, he did neither and it could have ended in disaster for someone.

Totally agree, the Swales era was hard, often heartbreaking but it was character building at it's finest.

I would not swop any of it , we support a wonderful football club with a rich heritage, it's a honour to be part of this club and to be part of the last 12 years is mind blowing!
You can not appreciate the highs as intensely unless you felt the lows..the weekends ruined feeling pissed off for years..guess we old boys have many family members we have lost that are guiding us from above..

Di Maria should be banned no need to be like a spoilt child throwing their teddies out of the cot, and stamping on another player, that could have finished the player he did that to in an instant.

Has to be said the difference between pep overthinking and not is amazing , let them do what they do but make it tighter
The truth is that Pep sees them in training, knows what is in their heads, maybe personal issues we never know about. A need to rotate, keep players happy. Not a simple job. I fear the day he leaves.

I think he is angry there actually because he was the one responsible for Neymar being there at first place. He tried a fancy back pass to Stones which by luck fell to neymar. You can also see as soon as Neymar starts to run at our defense at that moment, Pep goes to his knees with his hands on his head.

Interested to here your thoughts on how long Pep will stick around? He could be our Fergie, if he wants it. I hope he doesn’t view the champions league as the final objective.

Personally, if he wins it this year, I can only see him seeing out his existing contract?

Perhaps the post-Covid climate could persuade him to stay a bit longer, certainly with no obvious project in another country.

I do see him one day becoming manager of Brazil, Argentina or England.

I think it will be the USA
