Anyone else feel like Foden has come into the team with the same kind of force that Tom Harden did with his portrayal of Spider-Man in the Avengers Trilogy? Incredible skill and energy!
Except Dais he was 11.the lads did us proud to a man, fernandinho wound back the clock, i coudn't pick a motm, awesome to a man
10/10 all round
He gave a pen at first that defnitely wasn't a pen - fair enough, he overturned it, but, giving it in the 1st place was ridiculous, so how anyone can say he was 'superb' - please, wobble that head!!You are wrong, ref was superb tonight
I doubt he will be picked against Chelsea at the weekend but I would prefer to have him there against them, rather than Cancelo.Like Mahrez, he's raised his game and now it's a question of who is going to be rotated in to give him a rest.
I've thought previously that Cancello gets preference for his attacking threat, but, Zinkers is giving us defence, posession and attack nowadays. And that raw determination we had from Zabba, so keep it up lad! Be undroppable, as you clearly have it in you.
He was incredible tonight when the pressure was on against top quality.
Pep would sling him out of the Etihad in a cannon within a week. He’s a prickHe's the sort of player who has enough moments to look dangerous enough that you'd definitely want to keep him in mind tactics wise. But if you supported the team he played for you've got to be seriously pissed off that he plays like someone trying to get his own fifa score up and you can't rely on him to do anything other than be great, in moments, for what seems like personal glory, and gives nothing else.
Well there’s always a first time. It’s fucking shocking.
I don’t think we have ever beaten one in a knock-out tie.
I think you’re putting him up on a pedestal now.Except Dais he was 11.
No mention of Dias he was the best of the lot , did you watch the gameWow!
What a performance! From Ederson to Phil, everyone of them was outstanding.
A result built on two brilliant defensive performances, especially tonight. All four defenders were superb. John Stones was formidable in the first half. The blocks he made were of the highest order Kyle Walker is unbeatable in a one-on-one foot race. Olexandr Zinchenco was excellent. His part in the first goal cannot be overstated and his defensive shift was great.
Fernandinho continues to dominated his position. Has there ever been a better player than him to play this rôle? He was simply phenomenal.
The front five caused PSG problems all evening. Riyad will attract the headlines for his goals. Kevin and Phil were outstanding, but Ilkay and Bernardo did a lot of the hard work keeping the Paris defenders busy. Bernardo didn’t stop running all night and Ilkay was a constant thorn in PSG’s side.
I really enjoyed the game tonight. I was relatively relaxed throughout, due to the two away goals, though there were a few hairy moments.
It’s great to reach the Champions League final, but first of all, we have the Premier League to wrap up. Let’s do it on Saturday.
Finally, can I say that Ander Herrera and Angel di Maria are dirty, cheating rag gets?
Such alertness from Zinchenko and Ederson. Two things about Zinchenko tonight. Ederson is receiving a back pass and he is stood on the half way line! And yes the second goal was mainly KDB and Phil but the pass from Zinch that started it out of defence was just top class.
I didnt know about that tbh.I would have preferred it if the club didn't post tweets of Robinho, a convicted gang rapist fighting extradition, in a City shirt.
We must have had a pic from that season without him.
As amajor player in the panty liner stakes even I was as relaxed as fk after the 2nd on 63minsPhew nerves were still there until late i80 mins haha
