Good game for the neutral so far this. Been keeping a close eye on Parker, I can see why Hughes wants him, he is the perfect foil to slot in alongside VK.

Not saying there aren't better out there (cos we all know there are), but he has been solid in breaking down barcode attacks, and pushing forward at the right times.

I'd be happy if we signed Parker and took a gamble on Owen. Maybe sign Lescott and a big name player and that should be enough. I like the idea of signing English players and offloading a couple of the foreigners.

Other than being caught off-side four times in the first ten minutes, Bellamy has been simply awesome. On one occasion he burst 70 yards down the pitch with the ball only to be let down by Carlton (Donkey) Cole. His pace would really help us.

The first 2 offsides, he was level I reckon. As you say Lionheart, he would offer something we dont have up front right now...pace. He is perfect for sitting on the shoulder of defenders and not allowing them to push up the field too much.
