Good loan, even if a year too late. Excited to watch him against actual competition.

I wish Patrick the best of luck. It will be so interesting to see him play against the best in Spain.

You live and you learn. He realized what a mistake he made last season by pushing to go to Celtic when he could of played in the PL.

Now is the time for him to get his career back on track, I expect the motivation levels to be higher than ever.

    Good luck!

Doubt that Roberts will play much if Cristian Portu stays, he's a far superior right winger and basically Girona's best player. There's still time left though, Portu's contract includes a release clause that could tempt clubs.

Portu's much more of an attacking midfielder than a winger, so he might be part of the midfield 3 with Pons and Granell. I can't see Roberts going on loan to Girona without there being an obvious starting spot for him, nor can I see us sending him off there without a solid plan for his season, so it could be Stuani up front with Aday and Roberts either side.

Back at city after a loan spell at Girona, what’s the chance of him coming back to Celtic?

Would be just what we need
