Patson Daka

Decent low-cost, low-risk option. Would allow us to break at pace like we did with Sane in the team. Sure he could do a job on the wing as well. Haaland would take us to the next level, but wouldn't be upset if we signed him. Both would be great.

This entirely. Keep Serge and Gabby but certainly strengthen. Doesn't have to be a big name. Just a top quality young player who will fit.
We need however to be thinking of Sergio's replacement. We have to sign quality with that....not a rough diamond or potential that may (or may not) materialise

Nearly everyone we play now sits ultra-deep. Cleverness beats speed in that situation, as Phil is beginning to prove.

If you look at our other teams you will find that it is fairly regular. NYCFC have signed several players from Montevideo City Torque including Taty Castellanos, one of their best players and are about to sign Santiago Rodriguez, who is apparently very highly rated. Melbourne City have signed players from Manchester, New York and Yokohama; New York City have signed players from Manchester, Girona and Montevideo; etc.

Daniel Arzani, Aaron Mooy, Jack Harrison and Yangel Herrera all got a great pathway into Europe through CFG and netted MCFC and CFG a profit, while players like Angeliño, Douglas Luiz and Enes Ünal were developed during their time at city/ in the CFG system and also left for a profit.

Getting into the RB Leipzig team is much easier job than the Manchester City team. Gulacsi is hardly better than Zack Steffen, Naby Keïta is of a similar level to Ilkay Gündogan and Upamecano would struggle to get in ahead of Dias, Stones and Laporte at the moment. CFG is set up for global appeal, reach, and profit. All of which it does successfully, if we produce players good enough for City then great, if not it will continue to bring in revenue and expand our global brand.

I could get into the team ahead of Laporte at the moment.

Why would it be ?
Because post brexit there are new work permit rules. Daka plays in a very low tier league and a low rated national team, meaning he probably wouldn’t get the necessary points to automatically qualify for a work permit and if he came to England he would probably need one through the appeals panel.

I think we should be all over this. since hes apparently available for 17 million euros.

Patson Daka stats

32 games played
30 goals
8 assists

I know its the austrian league but Mane , Haaland came from there, there is quality in that league. scored a 11 minute hat trick to. From videos hes a very good finisher
