Just can't shake the feeling that this isn't over yet? No way he goes to the rags as no champions league football and he has stated in the past his hurt at the treatment he got there! He wants real imo which could open the door for us to go for kroos which would be epic!

Is it really important to a brand to have a footballer wearing their boots and kit?

The most famous player on the planet is recognised as an Adidas poster boy but plays for a club sponsored by Nike that doesn't seem to do anyone any harm

I think Pep is building a team , but I don't think Mourinho has ever done fan placation, he will be building a team and Utd will not spend huge sums of money on a player their manager doesn't want as fan placation. Doesn't mean they will get Pogba though.

It would be infinitely cheaper to just offer one of those players a fat cheque to change brands.

I don't buy it, sorry for the skepticism but the old "boot manufacturer stepping in to transfer deal" is something that gets talked about every summer and has never happened yet.
 
Could this Adidas thing be what the image rights blockage was about last summer? Sounds like it's a similar thing

How can you say it's never happened?! Image rights are something you hear more and more about these days in transfer dealings!

Any team can defend well if you sit deep and always have 6 or 7 behind the ball.

Image rights are important, but there has never been a big transfer which has come down to a sponsors involvement with club and player.

Spot on mate, Pogba is not UTD bound only Real can & will pay the fee if & when they remove at least 3 top players hence Kroos to City could be done, oh & Stones is a done deal so Jose can forget about that 1
