Shame about what? if Pogba signs for utd it will be on their terms. What are you objecting to?

Your constant blowing of smoke up their arses at every opportunity to be honest..

We get it Marv, you like the rags and often admire them.

Each to their own.....

Not signing Pogba will be a huge mistake.

The only bigger mistake would be spunking 100m+ on a guy that hasn't proven anything, see him suffer with the pressure put on him by the size of his fee and then watch as he becomes another Jap Van Stam that has to be sold for less than half the price they paid for him because 'it just didn't work out'

in fairness i think jaap stam worked, just upset ferguson speaking when he should of been listening

The guy hasnt even been Juve's top 3 player yet! MU cannot buy him cheaper (for what he is actually worth) coz Juve are no slouches! Financially its a no-brainer, MU become a laughing stock here. Football-wise, even bigger issue as he is hugely inconsistent and is a "luxury" player; There is certainly potential. But more potential seems to be outside the pitch as Raiola does a good job of hyping his clients which has nothing to do with their on-field performances.

For ppl asking why he would make a move, especially when Juve is building a team to win the champions league, when u and your agent are offered that kind of money, nothing else matters! If Real Madrid are put-off by that kind of prohibitive valuation, it doesnt show MU making a statement, it shows their desperation. They are keen to show they are still top dogs, no matter the obscene amounts. Its clear Pogba's love is Barca or Real Madrid. So its not like he is going to be in MU for the long haul either.

Just for footballing-reasons, buying Pogba doesnt make any sense to MC when we hv KDB, Silva, even Yaya occupying his position. And hes still a question-mark, could quite easily turn into the next Balotelli (though he is not as petulant like Balo or Ibra)

Yes the media pimps working for Mou/Mendes/the Rags will be very keen to make this a success, but we all know the agenda.

If Pogba was available for 50m, then its a little more valid Q to ask as to why MC arent going for him. Even then, we are covered for what he offers on the pitch.

Paul pogba If he goes to the rags will be
Sebba veron the second.

Different pace of the game Over here.

Not as much time on the ball.

More competitive teams

No match fixing

Huge price tag to justify

Can't see it working out if it happens
Glad we ain't in for him even if it was 50 million, some people have seen too much you tube

£86m this morning. By the time he signs it'll be down to £50m.........in the papers anyway.

Have to agree....there is no way that Pogba is worth anywhere near that amount. Glad we are not spending £100m + on him. It can be better spent elsewhere for the better of the squad and club

United are desperate, they were desperate in signing mourinho (3rd best choice after Pep and then trying to tap up Pochettino) and they are now desperate again in getting Pogba

The players' talent has rapidly changed since we are not after him and he is supposed to go to that lot.

A lot of our fans IMHO were just after the newest shinny toy last season.

He really isn't that good.
He's no super star he wouldn't instantly make us piss the league or win CL
He's a good player but not world class or a big game player or changer.

I watch seria A for my work and seen him play 50 plus league games.

He will never win ballon d'or or be world class.

Good player yes but not elite

It's changed to realism, because it's the rags.

Almost every player we are linked with, or those desired by various posters, become godlike talents wheras our own squad becomes largely a bunch of no marks by comparison.

You only have to read the delusion in the Otamendi thread, compared to the player we were actually signing & the bollocks about Kroos now. That was the case with Pogba, wildly overrated.

But he would imo be a very good signing for us & might one day become the player people think he is now. Not worth the money though.

Tbh I'm not overly impressed with him either, but I do recognize the lad's got amazing talents. Only to be proven in the (near) future.

Bold statements. IMO, he will improve the Rags midfield considerably. We might regret not pushing harder for him in the next couple of years.

Who in there right fucking mind would let a player leave on bad terms for £800k only to buy him back for £100m?

Would Barca, Bayern, Madrid, Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Juventus do it?

United are a fucking laughing stock and wont get vilified by the press for it through fear of banishment.

They are trying to make a statement about how big they perceive themselves to be, Mourinho and his soundbites saying " I want it all, i want to play well." You can see this ending in tears, its a last throw of the dice.
