Paul Pogba

Pogba for France is unplayable, he was one of their best midfielders during the world cup. We get that Pogba he's going to be brilliant. He's a leader for France, when he cares about where he is, he's a brilliant player to watch.

At United he's showed some glimpses of ability but it seems like he just doesn't care about playing for them. Stat wise at the start of this season he was top of the assist charts. Then "injuries" happened I say injuries but every international break hes been available for France. Hes demotivated at United.

If and its a big If, Pogba can show his France form then its a no brainer, from reports he wants to play under pep and he wants this. Then im guessing we get a motivated Pogba next season.

If Pep wants him, there must be a reason.
So 5 years at the rags and he has shown glimpses of ability. Just what we need.

A free transfer. Even with a £20m signing fee, it makes a lot of financial sense for a player valued in real market terms at £80m plus.

My only concern is his work off the ball, not what he does with it.

For France, he is still a top player.

If he's willing to take the move, he clearly has the balls and the motivation to improve with Pep.
I would think in the really big big games in the Prem & Europe he would be more of an impact player but against 80% of Prem teams he is a great option to break teams down & he wouldn't have to bust a gut in the high press?

We're already in for him.

There's a reason he has cut all his hairstyles out of late.
I'd have him minus said haircuts and cringe goal celebrations.

If he keeps fit, plays to his strengths and gets his down for the team then it's a no brainer for me.
There is a decent footballer in there and given the right conditions and an excellent manager to learn from then he could be a great free signing.
Him plus haaland plus A.N Other would be a decent transfer window.

I suspect its another masterstroke by City to get the rags to offer him a contract on huge wages ( like Ronaldo. Sanchez etc ) for fuck all return on the pitch
Don’t think it is this time. He’s already rejected a contract from them.

Not every signing we make has to cost £60+ million.

I’m sure the club will be looking at Pogba and seeing a player who can be genuinely world class on his day but is also extremely inconsistent. I’d fancy Pep and the competition at City to get the best out of him.

Bringing in Haaland, Alvarez, Pogba and a LB for under £100 million would be excellent business. Would also allow us to go big for Bellingham in the near future as well.

Matip and Milner have shown at Liverpool that a shrewd free transfer can add top quality to the squad depth.
Of course they do, are you new to supporting City?
