Peace and justice project

I'd intended to steer well clear of this thread, and this is off the direct topic, but the members of the EHRC are political appointees. (Sorry the report is from the Guardian but you wouldn't find such concerns in the Torygraph.) And no, I'm not suggesting the EHRC report was an anti-Corbyn conspiracy. (And what has happened to the Tory investigations into MPs and candidates accused of Islamaphobia and/or antisemitism?)

I am aware of that.

The EHRC still has no evidence against it for corruption or conspiracy, and to suggest its report into Labour were biased, would be similar to suggesting CAS weren’t fit for purpose to find City innocent.

It’s for the birds stuff that’s pushed by hardened Corbyn supporters who cannot accept reality.

As much as I get the idea that this (whatever this is) happened on his watch therefore he must bear some responsibility you have to consider the context. The leaked internal report (which was to form the basis of Labour's submission to the enquiry) and seems to be holed up in a patch of long grass at HQ provides it imo.
If the complaints procedure was dysfunctional by design to undermine the leadership yet the enquiry ignores the factional infighting surely nobody can be surprised at the findings?
So back to the blame game another contradiction for me is that the leader didn't do enough personally yet a key recommendation is an independent process with no interference from above? Seems a certain faction in the party is beyond scrutiny for me.
The general findings of the report was that antisemitism was a big problem, it was a cultural issue in the party and the leadership failed, not only failed but at worst have accepted it.

That said, Corbyn’s enemies within the party used the crisis for their own game and are too guilty. The blame game is between those who are racist vs those that would use it to their advantage.

Moral bankruptcy reigns supreme but at least Starmer is trying to now move the party forward and get beyond that.

He’s got 4 years to convince me he should receive my vote, otherwise I’m sticking with the LibDems.

Back on topic, this justice and peace thing coming from Corbyn really is laughable.

The reaction to the EHRC report by Corbyn's cult is similar to the reaction to the US election by Trump's. Denial and bluster, blaming everyone but themselves and the funny thing is that the Corbyn cult can't see that.

My immediate thought was that clown of a La Liga President and some of the media to our CAS result but yeah you’re right, it is very Trumpian.

Apologies was considering an attempt to get back on topic and reply to @urban genie on his assessment of Varoufakis and his ability ......to talk at some length.
Got mixed up with @Ban-jani and his misuse of the C word ... he missed out context but mentioned conspiracy and corruption ...
