Peaking at exactly the right time?

I get the feeling that we are.

Spurs are on a great run and have been playing really well - I get the feeling they are due to come unstuck. Especially with us constantly putting them under pressure.

Despite us not playing half as well as we know we can recently we have carried on just clocking up the points, and now look like we are starting to play a bit as well.

This last run of three away games matches and even surpasses anyone else's form by some considerable distance.

We have been incredibly strong at home for 12 months. 18 points remain available to us at Eastlands, 9pts away from home (including Burnley and West Ham - games we should hope to get at least a point from).

Everyone's expecting a typical City cock up. I'm not so sure there is one waiting for us this time?

We have by far the biggest "available" squad as well.

70 points will get 4th without a shadow of doubt, that leaves us needing W5 D2 L2 from last 9 games.

2 wins this coming week from Everton and Wigan and we are nearly there.

Hopefully we are although I get a feeling that it is all going to boil down to the two games against Villa and Spurs. If we win those we really should end up 4th

The only thing I would stress is, the run of 3 games where they play Liverpool Arsenal and United, they WILL get at least 3-4 points out of these games when Defoe is back. So don't assume they will get nothing. They are too good for that.

1 point max, mark my words.

We are currently fifth in the form table covering the last six matches, behind Arsenal, Tottenham, the Rags and Everton in that order.

We are third on home form, with the draw against Liverpool the only blip.

Not saying they won't get anything... Just that I think their form is due a dip, just as ours is on the rise.

Fans need to play their part. On Wednesday, and even more so next Monday. None of this 'it's on TV' shite. Get down there. I think it's £24? We need to do our bit to roar them over the line - no moaning and groaning about every misplaced pass.

Hamburg. Carling Cup Semi Home leg. Similar effort is needed twice in the next eight days!

If the team are greeted by swathes of empty seats against Wigan cos people have stayed home to watch on TV then don't moan if they aren't up for it because clearly we aren't either!

Its Chelsea they have mate not Liverpool. One point for me against Arsenal - they will lose the other two

I just think the change in formation will help, play more attacking and we look more likely to score, today we were the better team all game, we look better with 2 upfront and a midfield 4 with plenty of width,

i think were gonna come out of our shell and start playing more attacking dominant football.

My point was more about our results considering opposition, not just over the last six games. No one has had results to better ours (in my opinion).

To win at Chelsea and Fulham is no mean feat.

If we beat Neverton in the week - then i will start believing top 4 is on - still think the run in is going to work against us - too hard

I'm not sure peaking is the right word. We've been more solid defensively since Mancini arrived and in the games where we've had Bellamy and Tevez available, we've been good. I'd say this is just how we are when we have a full squad available. Something which puts a massive smile on my face.
