Pellegrini - The English Managers Syndrome

I ma reluctant to jump on the bandwagon with Pellegrenni. As we stand we are still in all 4 competitions and it could still be an excellent season for us.

However what i will say is that he is certainly under achieving with the squad at his disposal, he just doesn't appear to learn from previous mistakes and seems to loyal to certain players.

I think the writing is on the wall for him and he will be leaving at the end of the season, there is nothing to be gained by him leaving now and quite frankly I cant believe some people are suggesting this.

Trust the manager and board, it's not like we are doing a Chelsea is it.

The writing was on the wall funnily enough this time last year- last season the old FFP excuse did the rounds but this season we have spent £130 million and we have gone backwards.

He should have been punted in the summer. Even if Pep is known to be coming next summer.
Kidd could do a better job. Hell anyone could do a better job.

I don't think Mr. PellersGreeny even bothers trying to take the opposition strengths away from them. Hell I'm not even sure he plays to a plan.

Laughable that when we need Fernando on to stem the flow he brings on Sterling. Then when we score and West Ham are there for the taking he brings on Fernando for Silva. The bloke is fucking useless.

He's turned us into Wengers Arsenal. He's stripped the steel out of the team and we're too easy to play against. Seems a nice bloke but not demanding enough of his team.

It's a shame that in the weakest league for years, with a squad as brilliant as ours, we're counting down the days until next season. We should be relishing the here and now! How we ended up with this guy I'll just never know.

I'd sadly have to agree.

I think we have digressed. What's more puzzling is that during this period we have added quality. Real quality.

Mancini was getting more from a lesser squad. Whilst the backbone was similar he didn't have a great deal around it. Manuel has a wealth of talent, and for all the talk of playing forward thinking, attractive football, we were actually better to watch under Bobby, but could also defend.

We have become a dull team that is easy to to play through.

Summer can't come quick enough for me, I just hope we finish in the top 3.

It makes me even more sad that we replaced Mancini with this guy. All defensive discipline abandoned and that's what wins titles.
