We have use of a camper van until September and am thinking of heading to Pembrokeshire aas we've never been there before
Has anyone experience of this down that way and can you recommend anywhere that we shouldn't miss as tourists?

Our plan is camp sites near the coastal path as we're into our walks now

We have a holiday rental down there...It's like Cornwall without the crowds and seeing as Cornwall's full you may well like it. The beaches are brilliant, the coastal villages have a certain charm, loads of watersports... kayaks, coasteering, surf schools, boat trips, fishing, wildlife watching etc etc, the coastal path is worth doing, or at least some of it. I suppose with a campervan you could do it all. Eat bugs at the Bug farm. Usual towns and villages for shops etc. St Davids is a quaint place...UKs smallest city with a pop of about 3000, cathedral, arty farty shops, great pubs and decent food. Fishguard is a smallish port with a ferry to Rosslaire, you could do a short trip over to Ireland to break things up a bit. Tenby and Saundersfoot for decent touristy towns. Stick to the coast as that's really where most is.
You might bump into Mick Jagger, Robson Green and that girly Welsh singer with pink hair and a daft hat on Radio 2,
Oh, and watch out for all the other the twats in campervans. ;)

I am no way affiliated with the Welsh Tourist Board. Honest.

we campervanned in Pembrokeshire for about 8 days last September, it is marvellous. undeveloped isn't quite the word i'm looking for, but it certainly hasnt suffered from mass tourism and very developed sea frontages.

we really enjoyed; anywhere around Stackpole (Baranfundle etc), Freshwater Bay, Marloes, Skomer, BroadHavebn, Solva, Whitesands, the Blue Lagoon, Strumble Head (go here if you just want to stare at the wild sea, also there's a large hide which always has folks on the lookout for whales and dolphins, sun fish etc). Any of the coastal walking is great.

Town wise, Tenby is well worth a mooch, St David's is quaint but it really is tiny (honestly, smaller than you expect) and you'll need to book anywhere to eat well in advance, and Fishguard is worth dropping in to see even briefly and it has a great little catch and release aquarium.

You will love it. Both north and south Pemba is great. North make sure you see the blue lagoon and St. David’s. Silva is great for a pint etc. South penne ensure you go to Tenby, but go to Barafundel bay, walking there is great loads of car parks and decent walk. You can also take in the the lily ponds on the same walk (Bosherston). It’s a wonderful place if yo get the weather the walks are great. Enjoy we are hoping to get down this year again.
