Weird if sterling thinks he's getting negative special attention, in my view it's been the exact opposite with him, he puts in turgid performances, he will still play the 90 and will start the next game, Mahrez is in and out of the side constantly and is often the first off when not performing and torres has barely had a look in. Fodens been playing put wide this season and he too has found himself benched after motm performances.
Sterling gets preferential treatment, it's hard to criticise it because of what he's done for us in the past, it's IFgiven him a lot of money in the bank in terms of being tristed, but it runs out eventually and it seems Pep has had enough and is now treating him like the rest which puts him out of the side and he's not used to it.
I'm expecting this to blow over quickly and hopefully Sterling shows the right mentality, get his head down and can find some form just when we need it.
