He isn't shite, he may be out of form for sure but shite he is not.

What also gets on peoples tits is the arseholes who wont accept his flaws and weaknesses and have decided he is the best our club can attract and wont here different.

You are 100% right though,he is underachieving and playing nothing like his best.....but shite he is not,far from it.
 
Is this just a case of someone bullshitting on the Internet? Surely the journalists would be all over this considering the shit we get. I call bullshit

Well it is true he has faults but they all players have faults, even Aguero but it isn't just about attracting other talents, I am not sure I have heard anybody really suggest we only have Sterling because that is the best we can attract, I may be wrong as I don't read every thread tbh

The other thing not mentioned is the fact he is English and new need to balance the homegrown quota and for that, we get a player that isn't world-class but very effective 80% of the time but capable of world-class performances, obviously this season he is way down on expectations for whatever reason?


At the end of the day as much as we all love to play football manager, you can not have 25 world-class players in our squad, they will only get unhappy about game time at some point.
 
the thing is there has probably been words fuck me when i played sunday league footy these sort of arguments reared up every now and again, its normal in a competative sport.one thing i will say is i doubt anyone would try and take on pep and challenge his authority at city with his record and the barca boys in charge as there will be only one winner

Of course every player has his faults,no argument.

But there is a section on this forum who will not accept any criticism of Sterling,they will not have a bad word said about him.
So while some of the insults aimed at him are way OTT,on the flip,the clamour to defend him unconditionally is also ridiculous.

There has to be a medium,otherwise as has been the case....discussion and debate will only end in abuse.

I think the over the top comments elicit the over the top defence of the player, never-ending circles isn't it, like all arguments on here lol
