I don't understand why everyone is kissing his arse. He said he didn't have the details when they're all there in the statement published on our fucking website! He didn't directly criticise the plan, he only did so in a roundabout way then tried to deflect it by criticising UEFA. He's a great manager but a saint he is not.

Guardiola: "It's not sport when there is no relation between effort and success, it's not sport. It's not sport if it doesn't matter if you lose. I've said many times I want the best competition as possible. It's not fair if teams fight at the top and cannot qualify.'

Pep joined the Bayern Bundesliga monopoly, and is only here because the resources available to him make it the easiest English club to collect trophies at - he’s not really in a position to now advocate equal sporting opportunity of success.
