Dias is at the elite level...How many players for City has Pep coached to world elite level?
Kevin
Gundo
John boy
Walker
Rodri
Phil
Bernie
Eddie
havent included David and Kun and Komps because they were elite when he arrived. There is an argument for Mahrez and Raheem too. Haaland - give it time. Quite a track record.
This is such a difficult mental excercise, becoming serial winners. We've climbed that peak for the domestic league but after winning the CL we're in a bit of new territory it seems. There's been something lacking in our play this whole season so far. The workrate is there, the footballing ability and tactical knowledge is on par or better than any other team on the planet. But the sharpness... It's like the dullness after a very good wank. I trust Master Pep sees this clearly and knows just how to get them back on track to becomer ruthless killers again.Pep then said in the presser that he‘ll be reminding them every day that they have standards to maintain as champs.
I wouldn’t swap him for anyone else the players seem to love him and he’s winning trophies so certainly doing most thing rightPep may be Number 1 but I'm not sure berating a player on the pitch at the end of a game in front of fans like he did again last night to Guardiol is actually 'great management'. Coaching can be done away from the TV cameras.
If I paid 100m for a slacker (based on current form) I would do much worse than thatPep may be Number 1 but I'm not sure berating a player on the pitch at the end of a game in front of fans like he did again last night to Guardiol is actually 'great management'. Coaching can be done away from the TV cameras.
