I've a feeling he knew it was time about a year ago, and the contract was window dressing. If he can't bring the magic anymore we should let him choose the move out, and look to rebuild.

And where is that 60 million pound midfielder he bought in January ? we're becoming more and more like the rags in the transfer market, just splashing money and hoping it'll work out.
