I know what I see. The PL is over hyped and definitely not high quality outsude top 3 or 4.
Surely that's top 7 considering only one point separates 3rd to 7th after 36/37 games?

Not for me. There’s so much quality in the prem, not just players but managers. What league has a better overall quality than the prem? Not a chance it’s La Liga and same goes for Serie A.I know what I see. The PL is over hyped and definitely not high quality outsude top 3 or 4.

That's why I'm not in the 'Pep out' crew. Still a great draw for players.Pep is still a draw for the top players even if we did miss out for one season in the Champions League.
Wow, not seen that picture before. Can only imagine how that could be viewed by generations to come, they’ll never realise what the old fans have had to endure.
An exciting finish to a season is not necessarily indicative of quality. A few very average teams involved in there, ourselves included.
I believe the Prem is strong in terms of strength in depth. It's probably been to the detriment of some of our European campaigns over the years where we've had to flog players that would ideally have been rested. It's rare that English sides win the CL on the back of being domestic league champions the previous year.
Real haven't been the best team in Europe for goodness knows how long, but they play in an inferior league and have won countless Champions Leagues in that time. You only have to see how Utd made mincemeat of Bilbao in the Europa League when Utd are Derby/Paul Jewell levels of shitness. Themselves and Spuds both won their respective semis convincingly which shows the glaring lack of quality elsewhere in Europe. Chelsea had a horrendous slump in form and they're still in the Conference League final.
I think we were the best team in Europe for about a 7 year period and Liverpool for the majority of that time were 2nd. In those years Real have somehow picked up another 3 or 4 Champions Leagues, but that's cup competitions for you.
Remind me how many points we got against 'Derby level of shitness' FC this season.
That's PL standard this season. Average at best.
Farce !we had to stop playing our POTM khusanov because we couldn't break a winning defense, but apparently we can do it to incorporate akanji back
This comment slightly worries me, cause we didn't play well yesterday. We didn't try to find our striker and just passed it around at the back for most of the game.
'They are all mistakes bar Savinho who shouldn't be near a first eleven'. So he isn't a mistake but shouldn't be near the team?I don’t know what you’re waffling about. You replied to a comment saying recruitment has been appalling. It absolutely has l, how are you even arguing with that.

If we score the penalty we win the game, it’s as simple as that.We dominated the game and should have walked away with the cup
we didn't for a few reasons: our wingrrs are not brave enough to either feed the ball through put in a cross or take a shooting chance.
Kev was done by the 50th minute (probably before) he should have been off at H/T
We have 2 strikers who beg for the all to be put though or over to them early, it never happens and after sideways pass number 50 teams have doubled up on pur attack.
We have half hearted tackles and recoveries easily lost and 2nd balls some are too lethargic to chase (including the strikers).
Some of it is down to Pep and his selections/subs, some of it us dow. to players not producing a high enough standard or stepping out of second gear.
But Saturday even in 2nd gear and half arsed we dominated but were toothless.
