Something id like to see is allowing the RW the same freedom afforded to the LW.

For some reason, when Cherki plays RW, he is allowed to basically just drift in the centre, for good reason, he can do damage with more options.

Let Bobb and Savinho do the same, im honestly tired of seeing them forced so wide.

Obviously they still need to improve in many areas, but this would be a good step in not limiting them.

We saw with Doku, when you let him drift centrally, the freedom he gets makes him more dangerous.

Is Pep stopping them though? Doku is doing it on the left. And Cherki on the right. This signals to me that this is tactical from Pep. Even Savio came more centrally against Leverkusen.

My sense is this is a new tactical tweak and the wide players are inverting. Granted, i think the RW wasnt allowed to against Lever because Khussnow was the RB.

But yes, i hope we continue to see that tweak

Nobody is saying that, but I don’t think the players are listening or taking on board his ideas anymore, we need new ideas and a fresh approach for next season imo.

Absolutely horrific game management yet again, Foden's goal totally papered over the cracks, we got another game on Tuesday, a much tougher one away at Fulham, we won't get so lucky if we play like that second half.

Was it the goals we conceded and the heads were gone? Then they are too weak mentally.
