Pep Guardiola | LMA Manager of the Year

I think Pep isn't interested in the media but as long as he gets credit from the fans and the team and the people at the club he will be happy.

We have a siege mentality because we know what it is like. He is finding out.




And before anyone checks my posts I did say that he didn't get our feelings about the derby and I am sort of of that opinion still but we will see what happens next season!! :-)

And then Lescott followed it up by saying “Sir Alex” about half a dozen times and saying Pep can only be deemed as good if he’s been here “20 years like Sir Alex”.

The City pundits on tele are arguably the most frustrating of the lot.

Hinchliffe Lescott Richards Quinn… all talk absolute macca!
 
Depends who you are talking about. In the media Pep actually gets all the credit he deserves, they all talk about how he's almost single handedly changed English football and he's the first person mentioned above any player when talking about Citys success.

If you're talking about rival fans, then you'll be in for a long wait. it's simple bitterness and jealousy that they don't have the greatest manager of the generation and possibly ever. It's no real surprise they'll grasp on to any little sliver of doubt and play down his genius because ever single one of them would kill to have him as their manager.

He won't be remembered for how many derbies he won or lost. Most people, including rags and City fans, have already probably forgotten after yesterday and with the CL final to come.
Ask any rag if they'd swap their derby win for our season and the title and you know what the answer would be.
