Pep Guardiola | LMA Manager of the Year

I've always been a fan of him, ever since he coached Barcelona.
I think he has credit, especially if he wins the Champions League.

He gets credit from me, I think he is a brilliant coach. I didnt like how the early part of this season was going at all and it was clear we needed to change some stuff. He did that, and we galloped on, and I think this is all to his credit. We are blessed to have him and a team behind which have geared everything from top to bottom to make it work

I think he gets a lot of credit.

Depends who you are talking about. In the media Pep actually gets all the credit he deserves, they all talk about how he's almost single handedly changed English football and he's the first person mentioned above any player when talking about Citys success.

If you're talking about rival fans, then you'll be in for a long wait. it's simple bitterness and jealousy that they don't have the greatest manager of the generation and possibly ever. It's no real surprise they'll grasp on to any little sliver of doubt and play down his genius because ever single one of them would kill to have him as their manager.
Also most professionals give him due respect. Klopp said he was the best manager in the worid.

I doubt Pep will ever get the credit he deserves bar from us blues in all honesty!

And I'm sure Pep cares a lot about this :) :)

This is all building up to the debate that will sooner or later have to be had. It’s click bait and Sly Sports Gold.
Ferguson vs Guardiola.
Most Rags are already entrenched in their position that GPC’s Scottish achievements and Empire building gives him an edge that Pep will never attain but how can Pep ever win a battle he’s not involved in?
It‘s just a defence mechanism on their part to set challenges that will never be accepted so they can keep their idol and memories intact.
Couldn't care less about the comparison - it's meaningless
Ferguson and his team spent an equivalent amount, it not more, during his time there.
We moved with the market, and our management team over the last 10 years have picked some gems.
It's like trying to compare Pele with later players - the game has moved on so much you just can't do it
(Time to put the vodka down)

This is our Golden era..The way we are playing now, I doubt we will ever play at this level again for so long. Make no mistake we have the best manager in the world, by far the best tactician in the world..We have to cherish as much as we can..

In the last 4 seasons he has like 2.4 points per game which means we are averaging 91.2 points per season for last 4 years. Who the fuck has ever done it for this long? Not to mention the amount of cups we won...

I genuinely hope we can keep him happy and for 5 or 10 more years atleast..Our board seems to recognise his genius hopefully we can extend his contract again..
