Pep Music : Radio 5 Live Special

Couldn’t agree more. The interview is great and shows just what an incredibly intelligent, articulate, cultured and humane manager we have.
I just cannot see his like being repeated and we should cherish this time because he and this squad won’t be here for ever. If I had one wish it would be that us fans put a bit more energy into supporting and appreciating the team and manager.
Spot on .. so (so) true. Really think THIS is the period most of us will look back on...only have to look at other clubs to know these precious times don’t last forever.

It made me think of Mourinho, and what a sad existence he must be living. Alone in a hotel, in a city where the people are ambivalent towards him, without friends or family, in a job he doesn't like, with no realistic prospect of improvement, in stark contrast to Pep. I feel sorry for him.
It made me laugh at the sad twat, why would anyone do that voluntarily ?

I get it now. Pep is a deep thinker and needs our help in Europe. I am in. This is the inversion of 1999 and we need to get on it. Me included.

Well said. I think we need to get right behind the best manager we have ever had. Pep deserves the fans support in Europe.

The reason Liverpool and United's success did not last was bad management, United simply for example have no plan whatsoever. Barca get success coach after coach, like Real Madrid. Why? Because they are very well managed. We won't collapse to be mid table club all of a sudden, success will flow no matter the coach really as long as City is well managed.

AC Milan and Inter Milan's success did not last because they relied on their backers money completely, ie making large losses for decades.

Pep sounds at peace with himself; he knows who he is and he has a supportive family around him and that bodes very well for us. He is a genius and a good man, and that is a rare commodity in a human being. You can understand completely why so many players are devoted to him long after he has left their club.

Have resolved to get to more cup games, not pick and choose. We play wonderful football no matter who is in the side and whoever the opposition. All the time invested in the past watching rubbish and we are now playing the best we ever will. Fantastic time to be a blue. What a manager we have.

The best atmosphere at a CL home game in recent memory was last year in the 2nd leg against liverpool, it made no difference to the decisions that went against us, and we still went out. Its also been excellent at many of the bigger games in the last few years.

This years group, with all due respect to the other teams in it, was always going to be a difficult sell (tickets), and difficult to get an atmosphere going, in our only home game so far, the team didn't help by playing shite for 45 minutes, the only time this season we've done that.
Isn’t that when the team needs the fans the most?

Are we fans that only cheer on the team when they are winning and “pleasing” us?

It shouldn’t matter the team we are playing against. And there is a big difference between being a fan who has watched the team (paid the money to the club to see the game in person) and being a fan who helps raise the team up and vocally support them throughout.

There are two Home CL games left in the group and if we win both of them, we are through, probably as #1 in the Group. There would be no better way to answer Pep’s pleas than to take the level of crowd support to a new level...and help PEP & THE PLAYERS realize just how much we support how hard they work for our benefit!

We already know he is a genius coach. He was so open in the interview and I do get the impression from what he said that he sets great store in what the fans think of him, ‘he loves to be loved’. I think his relationship with us is just another factor to determine how long he will be with us. That’s why I think our support for the club in the CL is becoming increasingly important. Let’s make sure the Etihad is bouncing for the home game against Shakter.

On a human level, he came over as a very compassionate human being. A real role model on so many levels.
