PEP I think my answer is clear. Still the same (no transfers in January).
Or is all this smoke and mirrors so that whoever we want doesn’t go somewhere else for mega amounts more or we are forced to pay over the odds?
Some talk that since we said that Barca are trying to drop their bid for de Jong.
Pep reiterated no signings in January.
Brilliant.
We don't want an understudy we want someone almost ready to take over from him over the next 18 months. We want some one that if Fernandinho has any longer term injury /loss of form is ready to step in . We won't be buying any plan b or stop gap, the squad place available isn't going to be blocked off by anyone that isn't the player we want. You would have thought somewhere on the planet there were players available in Jan who could perform admirably as understudy to Fernandinho and help out at LB till the end of the season...
Sam Lee hinting on his twitter feed that Pep want's signings (a left back) but City won't allow a signing.
Think the FFP troubles are holding us back?
Probably no good players available in januarySam Lee hinting on his twitter feed that Pep want's signings (a left back) but City won't allow a signing.
