Pep, Sergio and his representatives meet for late night talks

Sergio, in my opinion is at risk of becoming one of the most tragic and criminal cases of not fulfilling your potential I've ever seen.

He's been treading water for 3 years, supposedly his prime years, and whereas before we could attribute it to injuries, they've gone now and what's left is a guy who seems to not enjoy football anymore, who has score 11 goals this season but only against teams in the bottom half of the table.

In fact, only 2 of his last 35 goals came against teams who were in the top 4 at the time of the match. Arsenal last year (3rd) and Leicester (1st).

This is a guy who should have been competing for the Ballon d'Or, who could have been the best striker England has ever seen, and it's all getting away from him now, at 28 he's worse than when he was 24.

18 goals in 22 appearances, knows the league inside and out, and is a legend at the club. Who we gonna sign that is gonna pull similar numbers? We keep getting linked with Aubameyang but there is no guarantee he will adapt to the league just like we don't know how Jesus is gonna get on. Seems like a hell of a gamble when you already have a class striker who is still smashing in the goals and is still only 28.
Don't forget we've still got Bony

Pep getting itchy feet having not kicked a legend out of the club for a few months. Can see it now boot Aguero out in the summer for not "playing his way" despite still being top goal scorer and replace him with another of "his" players and it ends up going as well as Bravo.

Jesus wept wouldn't fancy being in the trenches with you pal

Griezmann? He's younger, somewhat of a poster child for the masses, already?

All the smart money is on him ending up at United, so we have to be very careful if Sergio was to move on.

Aubameyang seems a more likely Pep target, especially as Madrid came out last week and said they didn't want him.

Maybe Madrid already know something?

18 goals in 22 appearances sounds amazing.

But...

3 - Steaua Bucharest.
1 - Sunderland (19th in the league)
2 - Stoke (11th in the league) - and at the time they were 17th and in the middle of an 8 game run without a win.
2- Swansea (20th in the league) - The worst defence in the country.
2 - West Brom (8th in the league)
1 - Middlesborough (16th in the league) - In a game where he butchered 4 good opportunities and in the end it cost us.
2- Burnley (10th in the league)
1- Burnley (10th in the league)

1 - West Ham (4-0 up)

3 - Borussia Monchengladbach.

Let's put it this way....you don't need to be Sergio Aguero to get those kind of numbers.

Ive been critical of Pep and will continue to be if needs be. But this meeting is probably a nothing job. For all we know he probably takes most of the players out for a meal now and again, it's called developing a relationship with your players, and is a good thing and good management.

Anybody would think we were playing a top four rival at weekend. Oh wait..

And finally, if (and it's a huge "if") there is any difficulty between Pep and Sergio (or any player) if we want to be a successful club City have to back the manager. No debate. Back the manager every single time.

Dybala Dybala Dybala Dybala Dybala!

Incredible striker, offers a big goal return but also link up play that makes Suarez look average. The perfect player for Pep, and he's supposedly a huge admirer.

The reason Juventus fans were OK with Pogba leaving.

23, poster boy potential, long term player to build a team around.

Not much to argue about there. I do think England and the weather here can also grind down the best of them.

Fake Ronaldo would never have gone on to achieve what he has by staying at United.
