Pep wants a delayed start for City next season

The football season shouldn’t start until the bank holiday weekend in August anyway. We start far too early. Even when there’s been no end of season international tournament, early August is far too early to start the season and teams haven’t had enough pre-season, never mind when there’s been a Euros or World Cup.

Because he said he'd reimburse the fans for getting a banner asking him to stay and just says "we'll see", alongside an awareness that it's been nine years and we've been especially lucky.

It could by the same token be a stick to beat the players with, or keep them at the top of their game, knowing full well how klopp's farewell announcement hindered Liverpool, and in our own past under Hughes and Pellegrini it wasn't ideal.

God I hope he stays. That man has brought me so much joy, not just from the football and the trophies, but taking on city's history and fighting our corner, using their hatred as ammunition to drive him and us on to even greater heights.

Bollocks. I didn't originally agree with it but, on seeing how the red cartel are trying to destroy it.....because they are not in it.. ... makes me say let's play the comp. Let's give it everything.
If the red mard arses were in it the media coverage would be non stop. The league wouldn't start until October and sky would be giving it the big one in the headlines.

Winning this first proper CWC is the biggest "fuck-you" statement we can give to MUFC, LFC, AFC, and their crooked pals in the PL leadership team. I don't doubt for one second that Pep is obsessed with winning it. I think it is why he will extend his contract for at least one more season. The PL is actively (along with UEFA) trying to undermine the CWC. The senior people at the PL have acted in bad faith towards City for ten years. Winning the CWC and banking £200m will our final revenge.

Disagree with a few in here. We know us and Chelsea should get a delayed start. We know there's a good chance the PL will throw their toys out the pram as neither plays in red. I would much rather play kids in the PL and make the point, go all out for CWC and guarantee players enough time off. Adjust ticket prices as necessary though.....
