Pockets of our fanbase wants to keep a thin squad and hope that's enough to challenge for all the silveware. I don't understand that line of thinking. Players are going to get hurt, or just need a rest and it would be nice to have strong players when those events happen. We tend to drop points around African Cup of Nations, Silva/Yaya/kompany are overworked its good that we are looking for areas to strengthen the squad in all areas to keep everyone sharp.

There were points last season we filled the team sheet with EDS players just to put out a full squad. Do we want those events to happen during key moments of the season?

Remember the times you would look at the team sheet and see no game changers off the bench outside of Dzeko? Take the hands off the panic button and have faith. Can't be a top club with a team scared to compete in the locker room , that doesn't build the heart to win.

chellini is also a good option...though at 30 , pepe is at his peak...though hope city can get a good bargain

I ll pray he will not come to city, brainless management of city should go for any other player not him, he might become the reason for you to leave city within first year, refree here in England are different from Spain, they will not give him any chance to escape from card, so city don't for him, he is not for England, if he is so capable then why city only are going for him rather then any other club ?? Also Jose will easily expoilet him coz he knows him from Spain.

Just worries me if Vinnie got injured we'd have enough quality in reserve to cover, especially in key Champions League games. Garcia really has to step up to the plate next year as does Joleon if he decides to extend his contract.
