Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Neither. As I understand it, Lautaro is seen as a 'cheap' opportunity, simply because a team outside of Italy can activate a clause in his deal the first two weeks in July for £110m.

After such, his buyout clause across the board rises to £140m.

We held talks after the Arsenal game.

110 mill - cheap opportunity? Hmm

He hasn't been in this situation ever before,he has extended to 5 yrs for the first time,he has never broken a contract,he is more suported and comfortable here with no political crap, you need to read more

The new money into the club is into the group not just for us buying players, pep and khaldoon have both said last summer we would be tweaking not spending a fortune every summer

When has pep bulshitted us? he gets asked every week and he says he is fullfilling his contract then he will see, soriano has also said he is staying,he has never broken a contract

But lets believe rumours and twitter..

What a load of crap @karen7. Quoting all this rational common sense and logic. You should hang your head in shame. Peps off to Girona because he’s scared of Klopp don’t you know.

Throw enough shit at a wall some will stick. His record is patchy at best but at least it's entertaining to read and stimulates conversation.

Your post does neither.

Yet you conversed with me, whilst agreeing with my post. Is everything ok at home?

So we've already got 2 strikers who want to be first choice, and would be unhappy with anything else, and we're going to add a third for double our record fee?

Doesn't add up. Pep would have played Jesus on the wing before now if he thought it was an option, and he's said he's never going to play 2 up front regularly.

£110M for a football player is now cheap?

Worlds officially gone fucking mad.

£110m for a £200m player is cheap.

£20m for a £10m player is expensive.

Ronaldo to Madrid for £80m probably the best value transfer of all time, despite being the most expensive in history at the time.

A 100m pound player who is banging them in and has for months.

Oh...hang on...

13 in 21 this season, including 5 in 6 in the CL in a group with Barca and Dortmund scoring in 4 successive games, so more than Jesus had ever done. Besides, if we think he fits well here for what we want him to do then that's important thing, I'm fed up of being linked to or buying players because they look great in another system. Perhaps for once we buy one who looks ok elsewhere but suits us.

I wonder what Sergio’s stats were the year before he joined us.

Lautaro's stats in the CL are impressive but in Serie A are nothing special. A certain Lukaku is outscoring him there.

Last season he scored just 6 goals in Serie A.

I'd rather pay 220m for Mbappe than 110 for Lautaro. I trust the club though, maybe Lautaro is special if we are ready to break our record by tens of millions.
