With what he has achieved with the players/resources available he has done exceptionally well.
I simply don't get the deZerbi love in, very good coach but his man management are Mancini levels.
Alonso is a practical manager, same as the inter manager , they do not play attractive football but they get results. Tuchel the same. Amorim is similar 3-4-3 formation built on a strong practical defence, which capitalises on errors.
De zerbi plays attractive football but does not get results. You could even say our Treble winning side was more practical than free flowing. very strong defence high possession style. Suffocating teams by pressing and passing
I’d rather results than attractive football. Hope our next manager is like that. The two we’ve been linked to are exactly that

It has but there is a part of me excited for that next chapter. I hope that isn't right now but when it comes it will be something different. United dropped off because the man holding everything together left. Pep leaving is huge, but the whole structure is still in place.Yeah, there will be a drop but hey, it's been a fucking blast ha

We might not be the expected dominant team anymore, and I know the top 6 is a label but we consistently finished in the top 4 before Pep, whilst winning leagues and cups along the way. We wont be as spoilt with success but we will certainly be challenging.I hope you're right mate, personally, i think we'll drop back into the pack of the 'top 6' or top 14 if we have to include the rags

I can see Pep signing a new 1 year deal with the option of a further year. The option of a further year being used to motivate the players into deciding whether he stays or goes.
