We’re like 8 games into the season and people are moaning that Torres isn’t getting enough game time. I seem to remember Sane not making much of an impact until about half way through his first season with us. People need to be patient - Torres will get his chance and soon IMO

Agreed. Fernandinho never gave opposition time to breath, Interceptions all over the park and always started off our attacks, Most of his passes were forward passes with intent and if he went sideways it was for a purpose.

Honestly I am not much worried as many fans here are. We don't need to sack pep at all that too in middle of an unpredictable season. What do we gain from that? Pep is a winner by nature. If he doesn't win he won't stay. Simple. Next season we get a new coach. Hopefully not Brendan Rodgers

Sorry but cancelo is not average, he was a stand out performer at the end of last season

He has taken time to settle yes, and he is better going forward that his overall defensive game

But he can still make solid challenges and get in the right position which is what is needed, and has done.

Benjamin Mendy he is not

Walker is no different to cancelo, who can be a total brain fart in games when it comes to defending and is a liability when it comes to defending a crossed ball from the opposite wing, 9 times out of 10 Walker falls asleep to the danger that costs us


Rodri I agree, too slow and not forward thinking enough. Fernandinho he is not

Garcia wants out. Seducing him flies in the face of what Pep said when he arrived. Mahrez and Sterling are out of form. Get Torres on them. Foden was the reason why we spent no money to replace Silva - why sit him on the bench next to KDB? Four years in and a right back at left back. We all knew we needed a striker in the summer. In Pellegrini’s last season, I truly believed the plan was to give the ball to KDB, Agüero, Toure or Silva and hope they do something spectacular. Now we only have KDB who can.

If wanting to know what the next year holds makes me a knob, I’m a knob.

Fan base does not have to mean fan boys.

Whether we’re skint or minted affects expectation levels. Underneath, fans want the best for the club and are “entitled“ to criticise when they feel things aren’t what they should be.
 
8 out of 15 points is rubbish start, yes we have injuries, yes we had no pre season even some happy clappers said here before season that the CL games were much better pre season for us than some lazy friendlies...

But our tactics has been found out and generally in first halves of games we are rubbish with slow tempo, not much chances created. We give 45 minutes away easy very often, happened end of last season too in crucial games (arsenal semifinal, Lyon game too) and we only up the tempo when the house is on fire.

The more and more it happens teams will get more and more comfortable opting for the tactics of WHU or Leicester and very same thing caused us losing 9 PL games.
This maybe it will cause losing 5 games but drawing 10.

Hardly any success we had last year in away games like Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, United.
1 win vs Arsenal if I am correct and 4 losses and that was with Ljungberg being the caretaker just after the shitshow of a run when they fired Emery.

Pressing sucks, we are way too comfortable off the ball, Mahrez, Sterling does not work their socks off to win the ball back very high. Kun certainly will not press at his age/fitness very well. Yet we persist with the defence pushed up so high.

High energy, hard working players, quick are a must for the type of game we wanna play. Rodri, Gundogan, Mahrez are not this type of players at all.

There is no balance in the team currently, and thats tactical issue rather than injuries.

strange selections regularly by Pep, starting Kun 3x just after he came back from injury and had not played 3 games since March is a bit crazy. We could have loaned a striker in all summer may top clubs do make loan deals why arent we? If PSG is ok to get Moise Kane on loan, or Icardi before that for the bench, why is that so horrible? Especially when Kun is injury prone and getting on, Jesus is not prolific enough and also injury prone.

Saying today Walker had to come off because he was exhausted causing Zinchenko to come in instead of Torres. Why we started Walker in every single games this season including rubbish Carabao games too of course he is exhausted in October with zero rotation.
 
I want Pep to stay.

I want the club to help get him better players.

Too late for this season but next we have to get a left back, centre midfielder and striker.
 
Fred, Jorginho, Maguire, just couple of bullets we dodged thanks to our rivals because Txiki was dead set getting them here.

Recruitment not as bad as it could have been if Txiki can get all his targets. And that imo is all about identifying the right targets imo we are lacking there big time.

Maguire is slowly becoming a joke within United fans too and thats in a defence that gets constant help from at least a duo of Matic//Fred, Mctominay/Fred who hardly have any other role than shielding the defence and also thats not a high line defence.

Now imagine Maguire in our defence, with zero help from midfield playing at the half way line and Maguire turning with the speed of Titanic when they counter attack past him. Was that txiki's big idea to solve our defensive problems, really?

I dont think there is anything more tiring and loathsome than someone being upset at Txiki for transfers.

It shows such a complete lack of understanding of how transfers work, even though the process has been laid out on video in the documentary and spoken about by Guardiola many times.

Which means you are being wilfully ignorant just so you can believe some childish fantasy that Txiki Begiristain is unilaterally responsible for picking transfer targets and negotiating the deals.

I think fred would have been a good buy- he is actually mobile and can dribble well. Fred is actually good but yeah our recruitment is shocking. Fred, jorgino, rodri completely different profiles
 
People forget Jorginho and Maguire were exclusive Peps wishes and not Txiki. Pep praised them way before
