Yes we need a rebuild players let go or sold its up to pep if he is up for that and listening to him last night he seems up for it! One thing though he needs to stop relying on his favourite players and maybe a couple them be gone in the summer!
One thing though who would you want for a rebuild Pep or someone totally new? Who would you put your money on to do the rebuild then keep winning? I know who I'm backing and it's Pep!
I'm Pep's biggest fan. Don't think he's always right and think he can rely more on young players, Lewis, Savinho, Doku, Nunes, McAtee... But even for Pep it might be impossible to win big titles every year. You can't plan for injuries, and the mental state of the team is hard to know in advance. Pep's the best but not a magician. Even if we struggle to make the top 4, unlikely but not impossible, our fans should show respect to Pep and the players for what they have achieved.

Criticise Pep's system, his tactics, his selection, smirks or attitude to a game all you want.
But this 'announce now, go or stay' reaction, is really strange.
Our league loss was the first in 32 games. Our CL loss ended a record-setting unbeaten run. Perspective mate.
And neither has anything to do with when Pep (and the club) choose to announce their plans for the following season(s).

Arteta was into his last year not that long ago. Signed an extension. Has it made Arsenal unbeatable? Ten Hag signed his a couple of months before that, how did that work out. Klopp signed his, then announced he was leaving 9 months later. I don't get this obsession now over something 8+ months away. Particularly as it is nothing new, we've been here twice before.

The obsession comes from people who can't tolerate uncertainty and/or being a bit clueless about how football works.
And a number 10I don’t blame pep. The recruitment in the midfield has been poor last few years and we have relied on the same world class players for years. These players have started declining/have ran themselves into ground. we are left with poor players in their places and as a result pep is flogging the older players further.
We need at least 2 new cm options who are world class in the summer. The club have to stop penny pinching and obsessing over net spend. We need a new rb, 2 cms and a back up striker st a minimum

Let's assume he doesn't want to extend, how does announcing that help the team ?It was cute at first but now I don't know what to make of it, just make a decision and settle the uncertainty surrounding his future
