I'm Pep's biggest fan. Don't think he's always right and think he can rely more on young players, Lewis, Savinho, Doku, Nunes, McAtee... But even for Pep it might be impossible to win big titles every year. You can't plan for injuries, and the mental state of the team is hard to know in advance. Pep's the best but not a magician. Even if we struggle to make the top 4, unlikely but not impossible, our fans should show respect to Pep and the players for what they have achieved.

Whilst them individual things did not happen because of peps contract. In general and on a broader scale it will absolutely be on the minds of the players, if that impacts on the pitch or not who knows but this season we have largely been poor despite the points total. You cannot say our manager of the last 9 years potentially leaving isn't impacting on some players. Equally you cannot say it is but to dismiss it is wrong.
