Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

I think this is an astonishing testament to the man's loyalty to this club. This is not just any extension, at any old time. As is becoming painfully obvious, some key players are coming to the end of their time, and a rebuild — Pep's “third team” — is needed.
Far more importantly, though: the way I read it is that Pep has thought long and hard about it, and decided to see the 115 situation through, come what may. Whatever the consequences are, he's with us. I'm not just jubilant. I'm touched.

This is an M&S extension.

RAWK are taking it well...

Maybe he’s staying because nobody else wants to go there and deal with the fallout from being punished for cheating?
..........

He's not really a genius. Could never do what Klopp did.

..........

3 managerial jobs. Only 1 at a club that didn't cheat. That 1 he failed at. Genius.
..........

To me it comes accross as Guardiola using the opportunity to insert interesting clauses in his contract that would allow him to jettison out of there with full payment and spend his free time convincing the world he knew nothing, did nothing and is still in fact a genius and not a sugar-daddy-tit junkie.
...........

And the best of the lot...

I've got no problem with him getting a new contract.
As a coach he is at best mediocre. There is not a single player in the entirety of his career at City that he has coached into a better player than he started out with. There is no one there that improves in a way where you go 'Well that is because of the coaching'.
He is at his very best a guy playing Football Manager with cheat codes.
...........

I can think of one....

That is fucking hilarious!

Holloway turned them down due to Swindon having a better ground, better fans and better chances of success.

His nights are already haunted, but at least he's not terrified Saturday afternoons by the ghost of trophies past....

"I told you these were shadows of things that have been. That they are what they are, do not blame me!"

Not sure why any blue goes on RAWK tbh, they're hardly gonna praise us. Over the last few years (and especially since 115 allegations) I've grown a thicker skin about what jealous bitter cunts of other team's think.

Our good news is bad news to them. They can't wait for Pep to leave because they'll all be in a frenzy thinking the wheels will come off our bus.

Fuck 'em all.

I never go on that cesspit, but occasionally I enjoy reading some of their bewildering nonsense that someone else posts on here.

It’s funny, isn’t it, but EVERY PLAYER talks about how Pep opened their eyes to football.

One of them is the CURRENT BALLON D’OR WINNER!!!

How out of touch could even a Dipper fan be?

Granted, he didn’t turn TAA into an England midfielder or every keeper into a sweeper…he just created the concepts!! HAHAHA!

He created arguably the best club side ever at Barcelona. The football they played was mesmerising which we saw when they took arguably what was Taggert’s best group of players apart in two champions league finals. Look at Gerrard Pique, wasn’t destined for greatness at the rags but turned into a world beater at Barca.

I remember watching City play Bayern at the Etihad back in 2013 during Pep’s first season there. I’ve never seen a team dominate City like they did that night, we didn’t have any answer to the pressing and graft they put in. One stand out moment was Phillip Lahm pointing to Jesus Navas (who had the ball) which direction to go past him. Navas went where he pointed and Lahm slid took the ball off him and passed it onto another player all in one move. It didn’t even turn into a competition that game until Boatang got sent off for them.

Look at what he’s done at City, he turned Vassell and Zinchenko into left backs. Phil Foden is now one of our most important players coming from the youth ranks when the idiots in the media were saying he should have gone on loan. He’s won a league without playing a proper striker. How many times has he evolved what he has and turned it into something else and still been successful? I fully expect him to do it again with what we have now.

That is fucking hilarious!
They’re now going down the route of that he isn’t being allowed to leave, like players before him. As though we don’t let anyone leave until we say so. How fucking weird of a take is that?

The reality is the players are at the best club, winning trophies and earning good money. Same with Pep. So for any lurking scouse cunts with their ridiculous accent, that’s why staff stay at City, so fuck off and take your face for a shit.
