Not only are we looking at bringing in 60 to 70m or so from the sale of those players mentioned earlier in the thread but we have the fees for Jovetic and Dzeko to add which is if my memory is correct around 20m for the pair ....I believe we will spend the 80 - 90m that is coming in and another 150 to 200m on top......

Huge Summer coming....kinda want the season to end now :)

Why do you buy new LB & RB before giving Angelino & Maffeo a chance to prove themselves ?

Because we can't afford to lose games while we try out youngsters who might not be good enough. Loan them out, let another team drop points while they learn.

In the meantime, we should go for Alaba at left back, and I'd stick with Zab and Sagna at RB unless there's someone available who's absolutely brilliant in that position. Apart from Lahm I don't know of anyone really but I'm sure the club will have someone in mind.

Are people just listing players they are not keen on? I might be wrong but think the outs may be fewer than we think and one or two might be shocks. Think Yaya , Demichelis are gone and two full backs (could be any of them). Think virtually all the others may be given a season to impress or not?

Some of these posts do seem more like wish lists than educated guesses but we can all dream can't we?

I'd guess our outs will be Yaya, Demichelis, Kolarov and Sagna. Probably have more outs than ins and we'll just supplement the squad with a handful of youths.

We have a really good young midfield player returning this Summer from a loan spell in Italy ....Oliver Ntcham

A player I would love to see Pep coach
Read rave reviews at the start of the season, not sure how he's been getting on all season. Yet anytime I saw him in our youth teams he was dross imo.

Fabinho is deffo on the rise and seems a proper RB for the future!

Seeing a lot of people comparing Mangala with Boateng because of their physique.
From what I've seen, Mangala is everything but confident with the ball. An aspect of Boateng's game that has always been there. I could see Pep seeing Mangala as a player he wouldn't be too bothered to lose.

Interested in if we will see something a bit different formation position wise if we are in fact after Stones a player I do not think we need but cannot miss out on because I cannot see any of our current CB going apart from Demi Mangala can improve and wont be wanted by anyone Kompany Otomendi wont be going anywhere and Denayer will be returning so if we got Stones we ought to be slightly over covered assuming our injuries are ok next year. Both Stones and Denayer have played at RB a position in which we need some youth. Denayer can also play in midfield right ? So perhaps thats how we fit them in

Both are Statistically superior to Yaya. But that's neither her nor there.

Neither one of Pogba or Gundogan are hardworking tacklers. Granted, Pep tactics might help, but I thought that was the general complaint with Yaya and Silva. Great when we have it and soft when we don't. Both Gundogan and Pogba can be described as such.

You sure comment like that you know a lot of things about every player but that is a piss poor assessment. That general complaint against both of these players is that they are useless without the ball, and none of them possess today's essential footballing attribute, which is pressing. Watch Dortmund's 4-1 win against Madrid where he pressed Modric like madman and pretty much won all of the tackles.
How many hardworking tacklers were in the Dortmund side that humiliated us at Etihad?
