Why are we being held to ransom on transfer dealings,yes I know we are the richest club in the world but I now hope we tell WHU & Blackburn where to go. The value of these players after January will go down & if the clubs go down they will probably have to give the players away. To be fair mate, we've 'apparently' signed Kaka, Villa, Messi, Ronaldinho, Fat Ronaldo, RSC, Bellamy, Parker and Jesus H Christ so far this season.

Cos they have a much better chance of staying up with him in the team. £2mil's fuck all when compared with the cost of relegation. Same goes for RSC and Bellamy. The selling clubs are playing hardball because they're being asked to give up their best players/best chance of avoiding relegation. It's obvious isn't it.

As for Crouch, Portsmouth now don't have to sell anyone, so we'd probably have to pay £20mil plus to persuade them to sell. Any why would they. With Defoe gone, only Crouch is going to score regularly and Portsmouth are as threatened with relegation as anyone else.
