Peter Drury is a brilliant commentator, and has the uncanny ability to really nail the big moments.
He was on the World Feed for the Aguero goal and nailed a similarly spine-tingling call for that one. His commentary for the 2010 World Cup opening goal is instantly iconic.
The problem with hearing Drury every week, as the quoted tweet suggests, is that he is *too* over-the-top for even the most mundane of games. He will elevate a scruffy tap-in in the 87th minute to Morgan Gibbs White in Nottingham Forest 1-0 Sheffield United to too a similar level of the Tshabalala goal.
And the problem with that is - if EVERY goal is special, then none of them are
