imo its quite obvious fletcher is opreating outside the law,infact he is sentencing people as guilty without hearing, fletcher my son you would make a great military leader in a country like uganda,but i'm affraid this is britain 2011, i'd get your bags packed pal because you have landed yourself with the tag as public enemy number 1,this unrest will only grow,it wont disapear,you can run but you cant hide!

Peter Fletcher does have an e-mail address and that is where swp80 sent his e-mail.

I actually saw this wrongful arrest take place as I was nipping to the loo as it happened. The group of ShowSec staff were all stood on the concourse opposite the David White bar when another ShowSec employee approached them and unfolded a bedraggled piece of paper and there was some whispering, whereupon they pointed to the group of 3 including swp80 and walked over to them before asking them to accompany them.

Now, I deal with civil claims and have dealt with wrongful arrest/detention claims made against retail store security staff. For a case of wrongful arrest to be successfully defended it is necessary to witness the act (often by CCTV in stores) and for there to be unbroken and unobstructed viewing of the suspect until they are apprehended.

It is clear that by City's own admission this has not been the case. As such, there is a clear opportunity for the 'spotter' to have seen someone in the toilets smoking, wrote a description on the bedraggled piece of paper, passed it to someone else, who has then made a mistake and picked up the wrong person!

However, I have advised City myself of what I saw, and they are unwilling to see reason.

I have e-mailed 2 people at the club, and warned them of the potential of this being wrongful arrest/detention.

Good to see the FSA have been notified, i often go on this forum which is really popular:

Maybe SWP or someone else who has been affected could perhaps details what has been happening on the general footy talk section, ask for advice, make people aware and generate more publicity. To be honest the more people who are aware either via fan forums, organisations , the media etc the better , the shithouse Fletcher and his bunch of slimy jobsworth's need to be exposed.
