Attention all Beatles fans, this has just popped up on YouTube, Peter is talking about his recreation of the movie Get Back... Wow it looks amazing and a long way from the miserable bickering finale that was reported at the time by all and sundry, they look a pretty happy bunch to me.
Having a right good laugh in Twickenham studios.
It kind of looks like it's just been made not 50 years old.
Peter Jackson this is an extremely clever guy.

Looks great. Is this like that restoration job he did on the WW1 footage? Was this footage already shot in colour, or are they colouring it as they go?

Its well documented there were fractions and tensions between the band from around 1967 onwards for many reasons but the biggest were

The pressure and strain being the biggest band in the world
The relationship between John and Yoko Ono
John's increasing drug use which Paul highly disapproved of
Brian Epstein's death
Musical differences

Before they did those studio sessions it was already agreed that they would spilt and they agreed to go out on a high and put their differences aside. Think it was Paul or George who said those sessions were some of their happiest times in the band because there was no pressure and everyone enjoyed themselves. Looks really good but It'll be interesting to see if Jackson has footage of the tensions between them and if he will show that
