Petition to make England games Free to Air

Sterling was quality again. These games should be on national TV, not Sky etc, we fund the FA, disgusting it's only available on Sky etc so UEFA can fill their coffers - English FA should tell them if not free to air then the team isn't playing - or get the EPL to pay instead of giving a fatcat a £5M bonus. They're on Sky because the TV deal was done before the Nations League was created, and these matches replace some of the friendlies that Sky had paid for.

Only the World Cup and Euros are protected rotected by law.

That could change soon as BBC and ITV are bleating they can't afford the live packages anymore.

That's more commercial posturing. Because they're protected for FTA, the rights holders overall have the choice between doing a deal with them or it not being shown by anyone - we've seen these kind of disputes before, and the main rights holder is in an extremely weak position.
