It was on before mate. He seemed respectfull towards us, said he didn't want to leave. He also believes if he was fit he should've been a starter. It took him a day to decide to go to bolton. He did mention something about spending loads, didn't quite catch it.
 
Going on about how we've got all this money to buy anyone we want but have to perform on the pitch or sthg along those lines. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Exactly this. There was many times that he was around and fans asking him for a photo or autograph and he would just walk by, I lost all respect for him after that, He's an arrogant c*nt glad he's gone.
 
He's right though. Under Hughes in 2009 he was injured for the majority of the season, then basically ignored when he came back.

The next season, he played in parts, (Barca, West Ham) and then started getting in the team. When he played he scored, we won, generally. He didn't deserve to be dropped at all.

Mancini came in, played him, he did well, again, but was dropped, unfairly, again. He was on top of his game around the Christmas period but was wasted on the bench.

Still can't believe we let him go for nowt. So what if he's an arrogant twat, you're judging that off of facial expressions and him not signing an autograph before a game?

Did'nt he get injured again and that is why Mancini stopped playing him?
