Ok fair enough , honest question do you think we should have and could have done more to keep Sancho??

Think this explains why Pep was right not to start him.

Many questioned Guardiola’s decision not to start Phil Foden in France, but that call was justified by full-time: as brilliant as the 18-year-old is, this would have been a test he’d have neither passed nor learned from.
Sancho would have stayed if we didn't go after Sanchez that summer. Considering we didn't even get Sanchez, and probably could have done with a winger on occasion last season, I think he'd still be here and pretty happy if we'd just decided to go without him in the first place.
I agree with Domalino.Do you?

I actually think Pep almost owes him a start against Bournemouth now, otherwise he’s going to start sounding hypocritical with his constant praise of him. And with Lerner suspended, there can’t be any concerns about him being overpowered by the Bournemouth midfield.
May well be right, I suspect Sancho or rather his advisers used City as a finishing school and the way things played out was always their intention.
