Has made a step up this season, but needs to focus on building ADULT LEVEL strength into his game. Too easily shrugged off the ball and made to appear anonymous in a tough midfield.

He is coming along nicely and fits our style of play very well. Let’s never forget just how young he is. He could play here for 15+ years!!

Thought he was poor tonight.

Don't know if the game or the occasion was too big for him but he didn’t know where to run to be passed the ball and he was very poor defensively.

Also when he was free nobody passed to him.

It was like having ten men.

He's clever off the ball, that'll serve him well.

But going up against Leicester's juiced to the gills players was always going to be a challenge.

Can we give it a rest with the strength stuff? A certain David Silva and a certain Luka Modrić managed to be world class footballers without needing to bench press a car. He doesn't need strength, his agility and intelligence will be all he needs to avoid the bruisers of this league. What he needs is game time against said bruisers so he can best learn how to play his way out of those challenges. One full season in the team and he will be leaving them for dead whenever they try to get near him.

He did well imo. I say that as Rodgers is no mug and a shrewd tactician. He can setup to frustrate the very best, and on his day counter them also. This was a super tight game where a seriously poor display would show up badly. He needed the hook but held his own all things considered in a vital match. For a lad his age, that has me happy.

We may laugh a bit at Rodgers from his stint at candlepool but he is a decent manager. Foden was playing in an area where Silva was struggling to get joy also, a good learning curve for him.

Could see the idea behind playing him but didn't rise to the occasion. Played passive and safe, didn't impact the game and it was an obvious sub for Sane.

Strength doesn’t mean he has to be able to lift Loftus Cheek above his head, but he does have to have the strength to hold off other players, like Bernardo and David do.

Not sure if you’ve played much adult football, but you would be surprised how strong even the smallest top players are, because it is a requirement to have the strength to hold off opponents and keep the ball at a decent level. I was 6’2” and 180lbs as a player playing professionally with seasoned pros and you might be amazed at the strength of some of the smaller fellas. He needs to grow up as a man if he is going to play in the mix, but he has time in his side...and his ability is unquestionable.
