He was poor today. There've been a few games against Championship opposition where he’s just blended in with the average quality of the players across both teams.

I don't think he's ever going to impress on an individual basis when he's playing as a left winger. It's just not to his strengths.

He didn't have a great game anyway when he did drift inside but he still had a part to play in a couple of the goals and could have gotten himself a couple on another day with a little bit more luck. Just his passing and shooting was a bit off today.

He clearly loves every minute he plays and every goal his team score but I really think he impresses when he's trusted with more responsibility in the centre.
 
Does not suit the left forward role in our system at all. Pep is forcing him into that position to try and get him minutes so he can still please the likes of the Silva's and Gundogan's with regular minutes.

Looked far far better and way more involved once he moved inside when Sterling came on.

His performance smacked of lack of match fitness. He needs to play more, whether it's here or elsewhere, simple as that.
