Can't believe he took him off when the game was opening up, he was actually coming off the wing in search of the ball as James was more interested in passing it back to Stones

Neville...another total flop as a manager. He was a very limited player who got a lot of games at United but was often exposed at international level and in the Champions League. He played virtually all his career in a rigid 442 formation where he had a very simple role. The problem with the UK media is that people like him end up as pundits and they are treated as if they are some sort of experts. The fact that Southgate plays Foden as a very wide right winger tells you all you need to know about Southgate's lack of managerial skills.
Rato can fuck off back to the swamp. What would he know about players abilities? He was given a decent Valencia team and fucked it up spectacularly.

His views on FFP are ok only because it directly benefits him.

His views on Club owners is also based around how he can benefit.

So overall he is a very limited and 1 dimensional ex player who was lucky to have played for the scum and had to buy into and suck pisscans knob as it was the only way he could succeed.

His opinion is wank.

Shrek has shared his managerial pearls of wisdom in the Mail , stating Foden should be dropped for England because he can only play the Man City way as a number nine or number ten and cannot play out wide , he wants Sancho or Grealish in the starting lineup and Foden on the bench.
No wonder the Grannyshagger is no mangerial genius , almost relegsting Derby to the first division at his first attempt, he obviously doesnt watch our games , because Foden has probably been more effective playing on the left in place of Sterling , in fact the failure to do so probably cost us the Champs league.
Shrek might have been a half decent footbaler until he burned out at 30 years old , but he has always been a thick f*cking scouser.
Unbelievable

You've got to laugh, it's all City's fault that Southgate has no tactical vision and can't see beyond playing 2 DMs whatever the quality or otherwise of the opposition.
Never ceases to amze me why our players are scapegoated in an England shirt Stones , Sterling Walker and now Foden being held to account , and yet KDB,Gundo,Laporte and many others are praised to high heaven for their national teams, The Dipper/Rag media in this country arent interested in facts , just the clicks they can attract from brain dead plastic football fans.

Shame nobody pointed out to the thick twat he’d played most the season wide left for City skinning fullbacks regularly with pace and great skill.

It doesn't matter for England whether Foden, Grealish, Sancho, Sterling, Rashford or whoever else starts because the team plays like shit and it's really as simple as that. It's like trying to launch a nuclear missile with a musket.

All that will happen is that any combination of them will play but they'll fail to be as good as they are at club level and then people will be crying out for someone else to play and then rinse and repeat. At most, there will be a moment of brilliance from someone and it will buy them a few more appearances. Other than that, it's pretty much down to whoever just so happens to be on the pitch when we score a set piece.
